Artist Statement
I gravitate toward ancient architectural elements and classical statue motifs, as well as surrealism and dream environments. During my BFA studies until now, I experiment with various processes and technique such as printmaking and painting on canvas, paper, or wood. Each medium offers different challenges on how to approach ideas and essentially keeps my imagery fresh. I ran a graphic design and illustration business in Vancouver and continued in the design field after moving to Boston in 2000. I have participated in group and solo art shows while balancing my graphic design work, as well as donating artworks for local charities and causes.
