Artist Statement
I am particularly drawn to the simplicity of design and rich colors of American Indian pottery, and the texture and shapes of Japanese pottery. As a relative newcomer, I am enjoying the exploration of clays (rich red, and speckled), and blue-green, black and white color palettes.
